determine the dimensions of stuff... duh

Again, I'm voting because it has my screen name.

I guess I usually aim to minimize risk. I need crazy go-getters in my life to drag me out of safety and into adventure.

I guess I'm part of the risky minority. I prefer to maximize my profit and gain, however, not recklessly so. There is potential for improvement in just about everything, and I think its important to strive for maximizing potential whenever possible. Sometimes that means you lose somewhere, but more often it means you gain/profit/improve.

I'm surprised that so few people have answered maximizing profits/gain. I thought if there was any major sampling bias, it would be biased towards answering maximizing profits :XD:

The trends in the answers depends a lot on the audience. In marketing, maximizing profits is generally emphasized over minimizing risk while in engineering it's the other way around. So I guess if this question was given to a bunch of advertisers, you'd be in the popular majority

Lol, very true. I'm more from a stock investor/trader crowd, which also tends to err towards the side of profit. Risk is simply a fact of doing business. ;)
