I just want to say thanks for all the photos tutorials, stuff in artist's comments, and news articles. I don't think I've ever met a person, in real life or on the internet, who has been as kind as you in sharing your secrets and helping other people. :)

You're by far the BEST person I've met on DA :) You're just helping and helping and never expecting anything in return. At first I wanted to choose "write more tutorials", but as I looked down the list, I realised I want everything :XD: Talk about being greedy.

Well if doing these things is what makes me "the BEST person" then you should try to do it too right? ;)

True. But I doubt I can do much help in writing more tutorials/making GIMP or PS actions/write more news articles. Or anything else for that matter. I do include a description of a photographic process (since that is what I value most when I watch someone) (okay, not most, but it's important). The quantity of photos come and go whenever I feel like it =/

It seems I have much more to learn/experiment with before I begin to write tutorials or stuff like that. Hmmmphh. What motivates me to go on creating photos are the compliments people give (few though they may be, but I'm slowly growing) :) And I really do feel so satisfied when I get something I want in a picture right.

Whhheeessth. Sometimes I talk too much.

I disagree. I think you have a lot more to offer than you think you do. It's easy to underestimate how far you've come since the first day you picked up a camera ;) And it's easier to just say "oh I'm not that good yet" or "someone else with more experience can write tutorials." But you can always be better and someone will always have more experience than you. It's important to take the initiate to reach out and be proactive  In the end, you may just find out that when you take the time to try to help others, you end up helping yourself.

I'd say take more photos, or critique my work.

Aww I think the sole idea of you asking is so cute!
And I dunno, I dont feel as if you were trying to serve us or something. We watch you because we like you/ what you do. So we obviously like to see more works of you and whatever tip/ suggestion you give on how to achieve something, because it's something you already do. :)
So Im between be my friend & take more photos, but not just to please us, but because you enjoy it.

It's less about "serving" and more about "promoting a sense of community" and perhaps also "the dissemination of knowledge"

I'm very grateful to those on dA who reached out to help me when I was just starting out. They helped me until I was self sufficient and confident in my craft. And it's only just to give back to the community that has given you so much.

At the same time, I feel like help is always out there but you need to reach for it (conservatively and considerately of course; don't get greedy now :XD: ). I won't take your hand and teach you photography step by step but I will offer my opinion and share what I know in the hopes that you can take that information and run with it :)

More tutorials, if you ask me, because they're always so prettily made when you make them and they're always clear and they have photos corresponding to the text, which is an incredible value.
