People sometimes ask me how I come up with concepts or where I get my inspiration. My general default answer is simply that inspiration is everywhere. You just have to look around at bit.
Whenever inspiration strikes, I try to write down my thoughts in my concept list - it's just a list of ideas, phrases, and general notes saved somewhere on my computer.
So here is the latest concept list. I've done a couple of these (linked) but most of them have yet to be realized.
These concepts are now available for you to use for your own artworks. Feel free to come up with alternative interpretations or executions. Just link back to this journal entry so others can join in the fun 
(In the past, I've held challenges/contests to encourage others to get involved in conceptual photography but I'm a bit busy with work right now to organize anything so you're on your own

Concepts – general description of execution/conceptualization
- Stars like freckles and freckles like stars – star confetti as freckles, multiple exposure night sky photo and portrait
- Silence is golden and duct tape is silver – duct tape over mouth
- Hell is other people – long exposure photo of person standing still among a moving crowd
- We are cancer – high angle shot of busy crowds
- ADD dress (address) – dress with + sign
- Dress ER (dresser) – dress with buttons and patterns like a dresser
- Apple PI – Apple with Pi symbol carved into it
- Lip STICK – Wooden stick as lipstick
- Peas on earth – Portrait of peas
- Personal shoes - Shoe lace drawn on foot
- Perfection creates monsters – mirror reflection as a monster
- Wear your heart on your sleeve – heart shape on sleeve
- On the record – record disc placed over face
- I am just a small dot on a big canvas – lone person standing in an empty field
- Yellow fever – yellow towel or paint on forehead
- Food for thought – fork in apple
- Mouse trap – computer mice in mouse trap
- Chiral (handedness) – molecules on hands
- It's not my job to be popular – portrait of person in suit sitting at desk with note cards spread out on the desk with rejected job titles
- Think beautifully – flower blossoming out of a person’s head
- My lineage, my roots - dress with roots pattern
- Body image - Drawing of body on paper placed over body
- Tongue tied - ribbon tied on tongue
