Sometimes life seems too quiet
Into paralyzing silence
Like the moonless dark
Meant to make me strong
- Flyleaf

Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + Tamron 90mm F2.8 macro. Exp compensation -2.0 to preserve the dark background. Curves for contrast. Decreased red shadows, increased green midtones, and increased blue shadows in curves for color. Before and after comparisons available on my FB: [link]

Yes, it does get dark quite early now. But sometimes there is a calm beauty in the dark, and your photo captures it well. Good job :)

I JUST bought the Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM macro (the non IS one) 2 days ago. Extremely similar to what you used here. It's on its way here :P can't wait.

Good lens :D Yeah, it's unfortunate that Nikon doesn't make a similar lens.

I hear the adapter rings work well. How do you feel about Tamron? I have been shy of buying non-Canon lenses.

Eh, not a fan of adapter rings. I like my Tamron a lot. Definitely my favorite lens. A bit loud sometimes but super sharp.

Awesome. When I pay off my macro ill look at Tamron for a telephoto lol. Btw I love your photography. 1/2 the reason I bought my camera.

Yeah, as long as you read reviews and do your research, I'm sure you can find a good lens.
