just a red velvet dream

Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor + IR remote. SB-600 bounced off the ceiling for lighting. At 18mm due to limited space in room though the wide angle seems to make the proportions look a bit weird :XD: GIMP for post editing. Rotated 30 degrees. A lot of smudging to fill in gaps. Added some noise to mask the smudging. See the before and after post editing on my facebook: [link]

One of the more post edited shots I've done in a while. Also more bolder in color. Maybe I'm trying something new. Or maybe it's just spring break :dance:

Update: Saw this on my other monitor; thought the colors looked too saturated; toned it down a bit D:
