Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor. Taken while in a moving car. ISO 1600. PL filter to minimize reflections in the car window. Tone editing to brighten the photo and increase contrast. Minor noise reduction due to the high ISO. No color editing.

They're definitely not rice patties. They look kind of like rice paddies but I'm really not sure. I was in a moving car so I didn't get a good look or anything. I thought they were just dirt lumps in a lake
