Mind Encaged and Unengaged by JeanFan Mind Encaged and Unengaged by JeanFan

What happens to a mind enclosed? A mind encaged and unengaged? Blocked off from alternative perspectives incongruent to ones own? Will it, through logic and genius, wend towards moderation and novel insight? Or will it, simply due to lack, repeatedly reinforce existing ideas to fester towards extremism? Or something else entirely?

Nikon D80 + 50mm f1.8. Getting into RAW editing. Darkening of midtones using curves. Desaturated. Minor vignetting added.

the cage is that
in which we trap
what we fear
we will never see again,
freedom.

Ooh I like this one a lot!! The white cage contrasts very well with the background. It kind of reminds me of the invisible man cover for some reason.

On another note, I had an awful dream about you and me finding these creepy and disgusting fuzzy dragonflies that had too many tiny legs. You thought they were adorable hahhaha.
