A view of Wuhan from Huang He Tower ----- Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor + Phoenix Fish Eye .25X Lens Converter. Exp -1.0. Crop. Minor vignetting to compensate for some overexposure on the edges. Added a transparent yellow layer. Minor sharpening. ----- Finally a decent photo with the Phoenix Fish Eye .25X Lens Converter. I got it on Ebay for $10 and thought it would make a cute toy. It seems to work decently with the 18-55mm Nikkor at 18mm; still some chromatic aberration, the edges are very soft, and exposure needs to be adjusted, but it's bearable. However, at longer focal lengths the chromatic aberration is just absolutely horrible, rendering the photo unusable. It's still a cute toy for $10 but definitely not worth the retail price of $60 on Amazon. * * * * * under the CC license, this photo may be used on other websites as long as: 1. cooooll.. Btw how did you make a Nice Adjustments Technique? Like it's a blue and red blends picture lens together like a Camera. I can tell you use Lomography effect but in Different.
That's cool ! I'm going to Wuhan next september to study and I was quite curious so I went on DA to find out some pictures of this place ! Looks nice thanks to you !
I was looking at this and I wondered what equipment was used. I thought that it must have been one of those really cheap converters like Raynox sells. Then, I saw your description.
It's still quite interesting and the CA gives it a fun, holiday feel. Besides, if all your images are perfect, you'd want to do something different, wouldn't you?
Nice photo <3
